1. This Policy, Not an Agreement

This Policy explains the terms on which consultations are booked through this website. It is a general statement of our booking practices — it is not a retainer agreement and does not create a representative-client relationship with Taheri Immigration Services Ltd. A representative-client relationship, and any authority to act before IRCC, CBSA, or any other government body, arises only under a separate, signed Initial Consultation Agreement or retainer.

2. Nature of a Consultation

An initial consultation is a limited-duration meeting (up to 60 minutes, unless otherwise stated at booking) to review your immigration history, documents and objectives, and to outline general options. It does not include representation, filing, or communication with IRCC or any other authority on your behalf. Such work requires a separate written retainer.

3. Fees and Payment

Consultation fees are due in advance at the time of booking. Current rates are posted on the booking page and are subject to HST. If you retain Taheri Immigration Services Ltd. within 15 days of the consultation, the consultation fee may, at our discretion, be credited toward the new retainer.

4. Cancellation and No-Refund Policy

• Consultation fees are non-refundable, except as set out below.
• Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the appointment, and any missed ("no-show") appointment, forfeit the full consultation fee. No refund or credit will be issued.
• Requests to cancel or reschedule must be made in writing (email or the booking platform) and are effective on receipt, not on sending.

5. No Guarantee of Outcome

Advice given during a consultation reflects immigration law and policy in effect at that time. Immigration law, policy and processing times change, and we are not responsible for changes occurring after the consultation. Nothing said or provided during a consultation is a guarantee, prediction, or warranty of any outcome.

6. Confidentiality

Information you share in booking or attending a consultation is held in confidence in accordance with the CICC Code of Professional Conduct, except where disclosure is required by law. Communications with an RCIC are not protected by solicitor-client privilege.

7. Limitation of Scope and Liability

Farinaz Taheri is authorized to provide immigration consulting services as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant regulated by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from a consultation is limited to the fee paid for that consultation.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected through this website and the booking process is collected, used, and disclosed only for the purpose of providing services to you, and is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law.

9. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
